DEPOSIT, RENTAL PAYMENTS & PETS
A deposit equal to one months rent is required at lease signing along with pre-payment of the last months rent. Prior to keys being issued at move-in, the first months rent shall be paid.
Pets may be considered on some rental properties on a case by case basis depending on the landlord, type of pet and submission of the full rental application; additional pet deposits and monthly fees will apply if a pet is approved. Current pet vaccinations are required.
CREDIT, INCOME & BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIRED
As part of the application process we require a current credit and criminal background screening using our approved service provider. We cannot proceed with the leasing process without this information being submitted and approved based on the property you are applying for. Typical credit score required is 650.
For Residential Rentals you must be prepared to provide 3 years of residential rental history as well as contact information for your rental references. You will also be asked to provide your 3 most recent pay stubs. Please note that our properties require that applicants combined Net income is at least three (3) times the monthly rent amount. If we do not receive the information requested, your application will not be completed. Please note: if you are relocating to Statesboro or will be starting a new job, you will need to provide an offer letter or letter of intent from your new employer showing your income information. Pay history from a former job cannot be used to qualify. All occupants over 18 must complete an online application to be considered. Units have occupancy limits set by the landlord and rental rates advertised are based on those occupancy limits.
